Why train with Bryan and Neuro Acting?

Because a teacher who’s also an actor, playwright, director and producer looks at our work differently to others.

Bryan Bounds (MFA in Acting, University of Texas at Austin, 1991) is a US born/UK based actor and teacher.

Here’s his story, and why he developed Neuro Acting:

“It all started at the age of 16 in my native Texas, when I was nearly arrested at a radio station for producing a local version of ‘The World of the Worlds’ that sent Texas listeners into a panic. From there my life has taken me on a unique path of acting and other careers…

From my MFA Degree in Acting, I gained a deep understanding of technical skills, both classical and cutting edge.

From my professional acting career, I learned how to survive in the trenches and learned to love it.

From giving briefings at NASA (Gene Kranz gave me a big thumbs up, one of my proudest moments), I learned the importance of energy and focus in holding an audience.

From writing, producing and tirelessly touring my 5-star awarded solo drama, I learned the strategies required to build a robust relationship with the audience.

From creating the American School of Acting, I learned how to make that structured training understandable and accessible for young actors.

From teaching students on the autistic spectrum, a door was opened that enabled me to use neuroplasticity techniques, in order to improve focus, imagination, sensory and social skills for all of my students.

And THAT’S why I created Neuro Acting: to pass it on to you.”
